    For those who are wary about a refurbished speaker, let me tell you, mine arrived on time, looked and sounded brand new, came with all the accessories and it works great! I’ve had it for well over a month and this thing kicks ass. I bring it to work with me every day (I work in the kitchen of a very busy restaurant) and whether I leave it plugged in or run it on the battery, it blasts loud and clear. I made a 5000 song playlist on Spotify spanning many eras and genres of music (classic rock, metal, punk, 60s 70s 80s 90s, various forms of techno, rap, blues, etc), and all of it sounds awesome on this thing. I work 8 hour shifts and when I have it running on the battery, it lasts my entire shift and then some. Pairs easily with my phone, tablet, and laptop. So far I’ve had zero problems with this. Was absolutely worth the purchase. This speaker rocks like brand new.

    JBL Xtreme 2 is a very high quality speaker. when it’s new out of the box. don’t buy refurbished. i bought mine and it came with scratches and even had been shattered a bit from being dropped so hard. the speaker doesn’t play to its full potency and doesn’t even play 100% clearly, you can hear rattling sounds coming from the speaker! and i’ve realized the battery life is not the best. i had a brand new xtreme 2 until it got stolen so i know how good the speakers can be but yeah buy new not refurbished:)

    I love this device! The sound quality is spectacular and the connectivity is fast. The battery lasted all day on the beach. The carrying case is very handy and offers protection. Would definitely buy again.

    If you want a Stong, Sturdy, and very comfortable strap, THIS IS IT. This is the most perfect strap for these speakers. Perfect length with no buckles for adjusting in the way. I am using it on a JBL Charge 5 that has a silicone protector wrap/case on it, and this strap just hooks right onto the case. Perfect strap and great cost. Makes it so much easier for these portable speakers to be “Grab and Go”. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thank you.

    The original strap was just to big and getting in the way for my needs. This strap stays close to the speaker out of the way and doesn’t get caught on anything while I have it clipped to my backpack. This is the strap you are looking for, for the nice clean look.
